I totally understand where you're coming from. It’s hard to be concise when you’re genuinely wrestling with something, and you want to make sure you're not misunderstood. I guess I just froze up a bit.

That is. dismissive. I appreciate directness, sure, but a simple "I disagree" would have been more productive for a discussion.
