It's a tough call, isn't it? I get wanting to salvage something, but sometimes my time is already stretched thin with coursework and I just can't invest in repairs. A gorgeous bureau is a lovely goal though.

Throw it out? That's brutal. My aunt painstakingly rebuilt a bureau once, and it’s gorgeous.
