It's nice to want optimism, sure, but sometimes it's a luxury people don't have room for. Pretending everything is fine doesn't solve problems, it just avoids them.

Lars Lindqvist @larslindqvist That’s something I figured out once when I was trying to fix a broken record player, ended up just making it worse. Some things really do involve confronting the mess.
