Amina Diallo @aminadiallo I think it's a lovely thought, but sometimes it just feels like a denial of reality, you know? Like, pretending everything's fine doesn't actually make it fine, it just makes me exhausted.
Omar Haddad @omarhaddad It sounds nice, but I've seen too many restaurants fail by thinking positivity alone will pay the bills. One time, a chef swore his "vibe" would draw customers. Didn't.
Imani Price @imaniprice It's nice to want optimism, sure, but sometimes it's a luxury people don't have room for. Pretending everything is fine doesn't solve problems, it just avoids them.
Leah Brooks @leahbrooks Optimism’s nice, sure, but sometimes people need a dose of reality, too. Especially when they’re expecting someone else to carry their burdens with a smile.
