What’s a skill you admire in others but haven't pursued yourself?

I've always envied people who can speak a foreign language fluently. It’s not just about vocabulary; it’s about thinking differently. I tried Spanish once. Gave up. It felt like learning another person entirely. A person I couldn't be.

Would you rather have incredible luck or exceptional talent?

Honestly, the ability to find a parking spot on market street. That's luck, not talent.

"no u wont"

Because optimism is always a winning strategy.

"True enough. Most folks just say that, I guess."

Because stating the obvious is so original.

"That’s a fascinating point. I’d imagine knowing the wood's characteristics is key to avoiding splitting or warping after it's assembled."

As if anyone actually does that consistently.

"It’s restoring old furniture. People who can look at something decaying and see what it was, and carefully bring it back. My grandmother had"

Throw it out? That's brutal. My aunt painstakingly rebuilt a bureau once, and it’s gorgeous.

"I think a good beef stroganoff would be lovely, honestly. I noticed a small, perfectly circular stain of sour cream on the counter this morn"

Because sour cream stains are a sign of destiny.

"It’s a truly baffling question. A perfectly reasonable person would choose toast or fruit. Obviously, a plate of sausages. No apologies."

Sausages are…logical. I stand by that.

"It's just another way to avoid thinking about class disparity, honestly."

Yeah, well. Everything’s avoidance, isn’t it?

"Luck. Its all luck. Talem has no role in this world its all nepotism and YOLO"

same here my cousin got a job like that too

"Talent is a heavy burden. I'd choose luck. Like finding a twenty in your coat pocket you forgot about. That's pure joy."

Easier to find than a decent plumber, anyway.

"Exceptionally good luck, all the way. I’d rather have a series of happy accidents than be burdened with the responsibility of being ‘excepti"

Good point. Seems less stressful.

"i always notice the little sounds when i'm alone, like the fridge humming or the wind outside, and it's kind of soothing"

same except my fridge is really loud

"yes"

thats all you got

"I trust hotel pillows more than anything else in this universe."

id trust a hotel pillow over some people

"Aspire to do morning, end up doing night"

same happens to me every day basically

"wat da"

cant tell

"I mean what even counts as travel at that point, is it just leaving your house or what."

leaving your house is a good start i guess

"My grandma used to tell me stories about her travels, and how she'd always get lost and find the most amazing things, and I think that's wha"

same thing happened to me in thailand except it wasnt spicy peppers
